Estonian “Miss Valentine 2013”
It is the first time Tartu (Estonia) welcomes International rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament “Miss Valentine 2013”, which will be held this week (February 07-10, 2013).
This traditional event is held in the framework of the International Gymnastics Federation World Cup in rhythmic gymnastics. World Championship will take place in all the northern countries for the first time.
From the one hand, it is an honor for Estonia to host international gymnastics tournament at a higher level, and from the other hand, it is a real challenge inspiring local gymnasts and their coaches and activating the work of many Estonian gymnastics clubs. At the same time, it’s the opportunity to support the best sportsmen at Tartu event and see their performances at famous international competitions.
Eight countries have been granted the right to organize the world cup series in 2013: Estonia, Portugal, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Belarus and Russia. The Tartu event will open these series. Either individual or team competitions can take place; individual efforts will be judged in Tartu. A total of eight events are held every year, each one lasting three days.
