Crystals’ quantity, complexity of crystals’ pattern, and also quality and durability of crystals — these are the characteristics which define high-level rhythmic gymnastic leotard.

If you want your leotard to keep its gleaming shine, it is necessary to fulfil some requirements, which are the following:

First, it is important to choose the crystals. A lot depends on crystals’ producer. Swarovski (Austria) is the absolutely leading crystals producer, and then Chrisanne (Czech republic) and Radiance (England) come. Chinese crystals are supposed to have the lowest quality. Crystal’s quality is the durability of glue-on layer, clear and steady color, good shine. Always ask what crystals will be glued on your leotard!

Second, it is important to choose the glue for crystals. Good glue fastens crystals firmly, it also can’t be seen and it is resistant to fabrics stretching. We use glue for crystals made from England or India on the base of white glue, when we decorate our leotards.

Third, it is important to take proper actions. Leotard must be stretched during the process of decoration with crystals. This will allow to save crystals on their place while using the leotard.

But remember, there’s no glue which can be resistant to laundry. Leotard decorated with crystals should be quickly rinsed in cool water. It’d be better to wash crotch and armpit zones of leotard. This will allow you to keep leotard’s original look for a long time.
